The owner of our store and geographic database, you’ll develop the B&Q GIS system. At your happiest digging through data and turning it into recommendations to support our business strategies, you’ll provide crucial insights on performance and opportunities across our stores, as you analyse market value, population and demographics. Managing relationships as well as you manage data, you’ll also make Geo-demographic information available to all stakeholders and work as part of the Kingfisher Site Location Teams to implement key projects. Inquisitive, analytical and with a passion for excellence, you’ll have the skills to expertly investigate, evaluate and analyse information – using your knowledge of data manipulation tools and techniques. We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree or experience of Site Location. Someone who knows Microsoft Excel inside out and has used GIS systems in a property or insights environment. A confident communicator, you’ll be able to make complex information easy to understand for any audience – and make recommendations based on logical conclusions. You’ll also be highly organised, with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage several projects at once.
