Back by popular demand, Dave Turner, Location Planning & Development Manager of Mitchells and Butlers will be challenging the way we think about site location analysis by sharing his views on the comparison of soft and hard analysis.

We typically take measurements of population, competitors, sales etc. (hard). But do we appreciate that our operatives have to say (soft). What do they think the population of a store is? The results are surprising, proving that intuition and local knowledge can be even better than our software analysis.

Dave will lead with a short presentation with examples of his findings in this area of research. There will also follow a debate and discussion were attendees can challenge Dave and dissect, discuss and analyse this fascinating topic.

Mitchells and Butlers are the UK’s leading operator of managed pubs and pub restaurants, offering eating, drinking and entertainment for our customers in around 2,000 outlets.

The seminar will take place in Birmingham at Mitchells and Butlers head office: Mitchells & Butlers, 27 Fleet Street, Birmingham, B31 1JP

There will be refreshments and food provided.
