The speakers confirmed to date are:
Grant Butterworth, Head of Planning, Transport and Intelligence Strategy, Nottingham City Council.
Grant will talk about sustaining the vibrancy and attractiveness of Nottingham, the competitive nature of cities from a local perspective, and how various retailing hierarchies and formats interact. He will also look forward to future challenges, and how Nottingham may need to respond..
Stephanie Durbin -Wood, National Location Analysis Manager, the Co-operative.
Stephanie will talk about how location analysts may ‘reinvent’ themselves in an economic downturn – when there will almost certainly be less need to research and acquire new sites.
Each Presentation will last for approximately 20 minutes and will be followed by a panel session where the speakers will answer questions for the audience. The event will close with refreshments and a chance for networking.
